Colourful day for Rainbows

A MAGICAL day was enjoyed by more than 300 five-seven-year-old girls who were celebrating the 21st anniversary of Rainbows on Sunday.

The youngsters, from Girlguiding Middlesex North West which covers Hillingdon and Harrow, took part in activities on the theme Over the Rainbow, at the Willow Tree Centre in Harefield which is their headquarters.

The Rainbows all went into a marquee in their uniforms, and came out the other end dressed as fairies.

They then took part in fun and games and were entertained by a magician, puppet show, and fairground rides, while eating unlimited ice cream.
