Dispersal order for Long Lane area

A DISPERSAL order has been set up in the Long Lane area of Hillingdon.

Hillingdon Police along with Hillingdon Council targeted the area in a bid to combat drug dealing and alcohol related incidents.

The order, which gives police and community support officers the power to make trouble-makers leave the area, lasts from 12.01am-11.59pm , October 17-February 22.

To the east of Long Lane the order includes: Long Lane at the junction with Clifton Gardens and up to Windsor Avenue, Sutton Court Road, Snowden Avenue, Oakdene, Burleigh Road, Festival Close, Windsor Avenue, parallel to Cowdray Road and across the sports ground including Home Covert Woods and Swakeleys School playing fields to Clifton Gardens, Wilkinson Close, Woodcroft Crescent, Denecroft Crescent, Leybourne Road.

To the west of Long Lane the order includes: From Sweetcroft Lane junction with Long Lane to Blossom Way, Vine Lane and Court Drive to the junction with Long Lane, Harwood Drive, The Close, Montpelier Close, Stocks Place.

Unaccompanied youths, under the age of 16, may be escorted home by officers if found after 9pm and are involved or at risk from anti-social behaviour.

Anyone who refuses to leave could be fined up to £2,500 or imprisoned.
