Foodbank visits Moorcroft School

Posted by Dan Coombs on Oct 6, 09 12:13 PM in Charity/voluntary

THE Hillingdon Foodbank made their first visit to a school this week and are making a second on Wednesday.

The Foodbank is a community initiative, aimed at providing food for the needy and those who cannot afford to pay for their own food in the borough.

A collection took place on Monday at Moorcroft School, in Brambles Close, Hillingdon at 9.30am.

All the food they collected then will be boosted, as a Harvest has been collected by children at Cherry Lane Primary School, in Sipson Road, West Drayton, and will be picked up tomorrow at 11am.

We'd like to hear from you.
