Rati Suladze, 35, a Georgian national from The Larches, Hillingdon, was charged with two offences of failing to stop at the scene of an accident, and failing to report an accident.

Magistrate's at Hendon found him guilty on both counts today (Mon) after a trial which took place last Monday (9) and he will be sentenced on December 9.

Simmone Hedges, of Brampton Road, Hillingdon, died two weeks short of her 20th birthday, when she was run over on November 21 last year.

These immigrants who come over here and commit a crime of this magnitude, need to be deported. Thats not racist. Its obvious. Everyone will agree. The same thing would happen to a British national who emigrates to a foreign country.

The verdict of guilty "as charged" on both counts is but a step forward in establishing what really happened to Minnie.
If a man can be found guilty of failing to stop and failing to report an accident it,by definition, confirms there was an accident!
Moving that position forward,a person or his actions contributed to that accident,in this case ending sadly with a fatality.
We have heard that beneath the chassis of Suladze's vehicle was irrefutable proof that he hit Minnie.
Are we not to have furthur investigation and subsequent charges relating to the accident? The crime, whoever perpetrated it,is Nanslaughter, not some tuppenny halfpenny wrist slapping technical failing to comply -misdemeanour!
There are so many unanswered questions in this case. Was,as has been suggested, Minnie prostrate when she was hit? If so why? Had she been assauted prior to the hit and run? Could this explain some facial injury thought "difficult to relate " to the injuries sustained when hit by the vehicle?
Minnies phone was missing. She was found alone-why?She had gone out in company. Witnesses heard raised voices prior to the tragedy etc. etc.
There is so much not answered.Let us hope that if the powers that be do not continue their enquiries rigourously and swiftly that perhapes the Gazette will take up the baton for justice.
A beautiful girls whole life was snatched away that night. Her family need to learn, for peace of mind, not just part answers but the whole sequence of events that terrible night.
