Kai Phillips fundraiser is huge success

Kai1.jpgA GLITZY fundraising bash for a young boy suffering from Cerebral Palsy raised over £9,000 to pay towards his treatment.

Donations came thick and fast for Kai Phillips, three, after his parents and their friends organised the event, held at Dragon's Health Club, in Northolt.

The evening was hosted by Marvyn Williams, who starred on television show Shipwrecked, and an auction, fancy dress competition, magician and children's entertainer helped the evening flow.

Kai's parents, Gill and Dan Phillips, of Micawber Avenue, Hillingdon, have also set up a Trust for Kai who needs £10,000 worth of medical treatment every year.

Gill Phillips said: "It was a very emotional night, it has been a difficult time for us over the last three years.

"We have made huge progress with our lives and Kai's and if it wasn't for the support of out families we would have fallen apart and our close friends have stood by us and been there for us.

"Kai has brought so much love to our family and we cherish every moment we spend together."
